The goal was to create a setup that would better represent the brand as a whole while remaining easily transportable across Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In collaboration with the Experiential and Partnerships, Marketing, and Communications teams at Radio-Canada, Franchir oversaw every aspect \u2014 from platform development and structural design to song selection \u2014 proposing a new, simplified, and inclusive version of the karaoke experience that could be used by all of Radio-Canada\u2019s Francophone markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To bring it all together, Radio-Canada\u2019s graphic design team imagined a colorful, dynamic visual world, making each installation eye-catching and inviting for festival-goers. We made strategic choices to enhance the karaoke while ensuring each element is useful and integrates naturally with the environment (LEDs, disco ball, storage unit, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer a selection of bold costumes to amplify a memorable, immersive participant experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Establish a rigorous logistics process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide a comprehensive, step-by-step training document for assembling the various structures and using the app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure technical support at project launch and equip teams to run successful activations\u2014even remotely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once again this year, the Radio-Canada Karaoke proved to be a fan-favorite activation at both Les Francos de Montr\u00e9al and the Montreal Jazz Festival. For festival-goers already familiar with the concept, it was a delightful surprise to discover the karaoke\u2019s refreshed look and upgraded platform. The on-site team received overwhelmingly positive feedback about the new visual identity and the app\u2019s ease of use. The most common comment? The impressive music catalog \u2014 featuring 100 songs this summer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The karaoke created joyful moments and genuine appreciation among amateur singers who felt privileged to take the stage \u2014 if only for one song\u2026 or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, more than 3,500 participants enjoyed the installations across both Montreal festivals between June 13 and July 5, 2025.
